Privacy Policy

Ride Accepter ("we", "our", "the app") is a driver-assistance Android application. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled. If anything here is unclear, message us on Telegram.

What we collect

Account data: when you sign in, we store your email address, display name, and a device identifier via Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. This is used to identify your account, enforce one account per device, and manage your subscription plan.

Profile photo (optional): if you upload a profile photo, it's stored on our server and linked to your account.

Payment records: when you purchase a plan, we store the order ID, plan type, amount, and payment status. Card and UPI details are handled entirely by Paytm, our payment gateway — we never see or store your payment credentials.

What we do NOT collect: the app uses Android's Accessibility Service to read the on-screen content of supported ride/delivery apps (fare, pickup/drop text, accept button) purely to decide whether to tap "Accept" automatically. That screen content is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded, logged remotely, or stored on our servers.

Why we collect it

To authenticate you, activate and track your subscription plan, prevent abuse (one account per device), provide support, and process payments through Paytm.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the service providers required to run the app: Google Firebase (authentication, database, crash/analytics) and Paytm (payment processing). We do not share your data with ride-hailing or delivery companies (Ola, Uber, Rapido, Swiggy, Zomato, etc.) — the app interacts with their apps locally on your phone only.

Data retention & deletion

Account and transaction data is retained while your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us on Telegram with the email address registered to your account.

Permissions the app requests

Accessibility Service — required to detect ride/order screens and tap accept. Display over other apps (overlay) — used for the optional floating status widget. Neither permission is used to read or transmit data outside of what's described above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and announce it on our Telegram channel.
